Mt Coghill Vineyard is pleased to have produced its BlancDeNoirs made from our single vineyard piniot noir grapes grown on the red soil triangle.
This wine has been on lees for 3 years, fermenting in the bottle and is a wonderful drop!
There aren't many Aussie blanc de noirs around these days, which makes this Ballarat sparkling with three years on lees a bit of a rarity. Pale pinot-rosé blush in colour. It's warm and earthy, autumnal in feel and texture, which makes it a strong candidate for pairing with food. Cherries, raspberries, spiced red berries, earth and toast aromas. Red fruits follow through to the palate in flavoursome style with spice, grilled cashews, marzipan and brioche. Plenty of lively acidity and presence in the glass, with a creamy finish.
